Nine.

Spare some change?

I'm compassionate by nature, my heart goes out to anyone who has felt pain, or is in pain. I guess once you've been in a dark place, you are more sympathetic to those who are in dark places. I was sitting outside of the mall waiting on Nikki to get off, and I was sitting there with my camera around me neck and all of my stuff scattered around me. Each person that passed stared at me like I was a homeless person ready to ask for some change. Naturally I did what any bad humored person would do, stuck out my hand and asked someone for change...

Just kidding, I didn't, but I did stick my hand out and take this picture. I hope you like it! :-)

  3. Marie stole my thought grr, J/k But when I first saw this I thought "Give peace" or "hand out peace". I wish the world could pick up on that message instead of handing out hate and fear...

  8. I love this photo. It's so true, if you've experienced pain and felt alone and without help, it's much easier to feel compassion towards others in pain.

Were you at a bus terminal for that shot? When you do choose your picture of the day, is it from a collection of shots you take during the day? Or something planned out...

  22. i love this shot, its deffently true that once you have experienced pain it is easier to have compassion for others. when i saw this picture i thought that it might represent change and hope, in the sense that your giving someone a hand, asking for change. we need more photographs like this because they give off the feeling of hope! and we could all use alittle bit more hope in the world. thanks for making my day with this pic!
